BNP Paribas promotes Eric Tran to Apac global banking chief sustainability officer

Tran will look after ESG issues relevant to both corporate and investment banking. He will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore in the second half of the year.

Eric Tran, previously the head of sustainability for transaction banking Asia Pacific Apac, at French bank BNP Paribas, has been appointed as the chief sustainability officer for global banking, Apac, effective immediately.

Tran will relocate from Hong Kong to Singapore in the second half of 2025, according to a March 20 media release.

In the new role, Tran will be responsible for driving environmental, social and governance ESG strategy across global banking business lines at BNP Paribas.
