CBRE boosts Apac hotels team amid growing activity

Andrew Hunter has been promoted to senior director, while Mark Hahm has been hired from JLL to boost the firm’s hotels’ investment and transaction services.

Dallas-headquartered commercial real estate services and investments firm CBRE has announced two new appointments to bolster its hotels and hospitality capability across Asia Pacific Apac, as the region’s tourism sector rebounds.

Andrew Hunter has been promoted to senior director within the team, based in Singapore. He will collaborate with global, Apac as well as local hotels teams, to enhance cross-border investment opportunities within the sector. According to a March 17 media release, he will focus on driving deal distribution and providing market intelligence to help clients with strategies. Hunter pictured below left joined CBRE in 2021 in the UK and relocated to Singapore the following year.
