The Hong Kong Stock Exchange HKEX has appointed Gregory Yu as managing director, head of markets, and Kevin Rumjahn as managing director, head of strategic projects.
The moves come as the HKEX welcomes a flurry of initial public companies to the city from mainland Chinese firms in recent days and weeks, including Chinese toymaker Bloks which has raised $215 million.
In his new role, Yu has been tasked with helping the HKEX’s equities, derivatives, and fixed-income and currencies franchises, and oversee the development of the markets function, according to to HKEX statement.
