Hogan Lovells recruits Singapore partner for regulatory, IP practice

Cybersecurity expert Charmian Aw will join the global firm on February 25 from Squire Patton Boggs.

Global law firm Hogan Lovells has appointed Charmian Aw as a partner in its global regulatory IP practice.

Based in Singapore, Aw pictured is set to join Hogan Lovells on February 25 from Squire Patton Boggs, and has experience in data privacy, cybersecurity and technology transactions across the Asia Pacific Apac region. She joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in April 2023 from Reed Smith. 

The hire is the firm’s fifth recent addition in Singapore, following the appointments of private equity and funds partners Siew Kam Boon, Timothy Goh, and Thomas Kim, as well as Rob Palmer in international arbitration.
