Hong Kong’s Ether spot ETFs approved to support staking

Staking activities using two funds will be made available on April 25 and May 15, respectively.

Two Hong Kong-domiciled spot Ether exchange traded funds ETFs have been approved by regulators to be used in staking activities.

The Bosera Hashkey Virtual Asset Ether ETF, which tracks the price of Ether, will be made available for Ether staking starting from April 25, as approved by the Securities and Futures Commission SFC. In the meantime, China Asset Management Hong Kong’s Ether ETF has been approved to be used in staking from May 15.
