This month, London-headquartered law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills HSF announced the expansion of its Singapore-based capability with three partners, in support of opportunities in emerging sectors such as technology and energy transition, as well as the “high priority growth area” of private capital.
At the start of September, the company shared the recruitment of energy transition specialist, Peiwen Chen from the Singapore office of competitor, White Case and the relocation of HSF MA partner, Malika Chandrasegaran, from Sydney. This was followed by news on Thursday September 21 of the recruitment of Anthony Patten as MA and energy expert, from King Spalding.
