Law firm Broadfield opens Hong Kong office

Effie Vasilopoulos, formerly at Sidley Austin, will lead Broadfield's Apac operations as the newly created firm looks to build out the team quickly to cover the region across funds, private equity and corporate advisory.

UK law firm Broadfield has opened an office in Hong Kong to focus on the provision of investment fund formation, private equity MA, GP strategic transactions, corporate advisory, and turnaround services, ahead of a phased build-out of other aligned practice areas later in the year.

The Hong Kong launch comes after UK law firm BDB Pitmans, Broadfield's founding mamber, in December 2024 took on the name of Broadfield UK to become its UK operation, with the support of SHP Legal Services. 

The Hong Kong arm is associated with Liu, Patrick Ling Co. LLP PLL, a Hong Kong law firm founded by Patrick Li....
