Standard Chartered hires new head of Southeast Asia financial institutions strategic coverage and head of Indian company research.

Standard Chartered continues to make senior hires and appointments in its Asian investment banking operations.

The UK-headquartered bank said yesterday that it has appointed Petter Sternby as head of its Southeast Asia financial institutions FI strategic coverage and hired Sumit Choudhary for a newly created role as head of emerging companies research in India.

The moves follow recent high-level additions to its corporate finance, debt capital markets, foreign exchange and research teams.
